About

My daughter, Zadie, is 19-months old and usually wants to do nothing but read all day. She’s at a great age when she can handle books made of paper rather than boards, and enjoys simple plots, though many children’s books are still too complex or wordy for her. So we spend a lot of time at our public library looking for books that strike a good balance between words and pictures, as well as between familiarity and newness. This blog is about the books we’ve discovered and enjoyed reading many many times.
